How much do movers cost?

The cost of movers depends on the size of your move, the number of movers needed, how much furniture you have, how many boxes you have, stairs, elevators, walking distance, parking access, and the distance between pickup and delivery.

Smaller studio moves usually take less time than large homes. A one-bedroom apartment may take longer if there are stairs, long hallways, elevators, lots of boxes, or furniture that needs to be disassembled and reassembled. Larger homes may need 3 or 4 movers to keep the move efficient and safe.

Twilight Movers provides clear hourly pricing and gives customers realistic estimates based on the details of the move.

Do you provide a moving truck?

Yes. Twilight Movers provides a moving truck for full-service moves. Our truck comes prepared with moving equipment such as dollies, moving blankets, tools, straps, shrink wrap, and tape.

Proper truck loading is very important. Furniture must be protected, stacked correctly, and secured to reduce movement during transportation. Our movers load the truck carefully so your items are organized and protected during the move.

Do you protect furniture?

Yes. Furniture protection is one of the most important parts of a professional move. We use moving blankets, shrink wrap, tape, and careful handling to help protect furniture from scratches, dents, and damage.

Large furniture, dressers, tables, bed frames, sofas, sectionals, refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other heavy items are handled with care and moved using proper equipment whenever needed.

Do you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes. Our movers can disassemble and reassemble common furniture items when needed, including beds, bed frames, tables, desks, and similar furniture pieces.

Disassembly can make the move safer and easier, especially when furniture needs to pass through tight doors, hallways, elevators, or stairs.

Do you move apartments with stairs or elevators?

Yes. We regularly move customers in apartments, condos, townhomes, and buildings with stairs or elevators. Please tell us ahead of time if your building has stairs, elevators, long hallways, gate codes, parking restrictions, or loading dock rules.

The more information we have before the move, the better we can plan the crew, equipment, timing, and truck access.

Do you offer packing services?

Yes. Twilight Movers offers packing services for customers who need help preparing before moving day. We can help with full packing or partial packing depending on your needs.

Packing services are helpful for kitchens, fragile items, decorations, glassware, electronics, closets, bedrooms, and last-minute items. Proper packing helps reduce damages and makes loading the truck faster and safer.

Do you provide packing supplies?

We provide moving blankets, shrink wrap, tape, tools, dollies, and basic moving equipment during the move. Boxes and additional packing materials may be available depending on the move and request.

Customers should label boxes clearly by room. For example: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, garage, office, fragile, or heavy. Good labeling helps movers place items in the correct rooms at delivery.

How should I prepare before movers arrive?

Before movers arrive, try to have loose items packed, boxes closed, fragile items labeled, and pathways cleared. If possible, remove items from dressers that are too heavy, unplug electronics, disconnect appliances, and keep important documents with you.

Customers should also reserve parking if needed, check elevator rules, confirm building move-in or move-out times, and communicate any special instructions before moving day.

Do you move heavy items?

Yes. We move heavy furniture and household items such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, treadmills, dressers, sofas, sectionals, tables, and other bulky items.

Heavy items require proper equipment, enough movers, and safe lifting techniques. If you have very heavy items, tell us ahead of time so we can recommend the right crew size.

Do you move refrigerators, washers, and dryers?

Yes. We can move refrigerators, washers, and dryers. Customers should disconnect appliances before the movers arrive unless other arrangements are made.

For refrigerators, remove food, shelves if needed, and secure loose parts. For washers and dryers, disconnect water lines, drain hoses, gas lines, and power cords safely before moving day.

Do you move treadmills and exercise equipment?

Yes. We can move treadmills and exercise equipment, depending on the size, weight, stairs, access, and whether disassembly is needed.

Some treadmills are very heavy and may require additional movers or disassembly. Please send details or photos when requesting a quote.

How long does a move take?

Every move is different. Timing depends on the home size, number of boxes, furniture amount, stairs, elevator wait time, walking distance, parking access, packing readiness, and driving distance.

A studio may take a few hours. A one-bedroom apartment may take several hours. A two-bedroom or larger home may take most of the day depending on the inventory and access conditions.

What areas do you service?

Twilight Movers serves Long Beach, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Orange County, Garden Grove, Irvine, Torrance, Lakewood, Signal Hill, Cerritos, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Fullerton, and surrounding California cities.

We help with local moves, residential moves, apartment moves, office moves, packing services, and long-distance moves within California.

Do you offer Long Beach moving services?

Yes. Long Beach is one of our main service areas. We help customers move apartments, homes, offices, furniture, storage units, and local deliveries throughout Long Beach and nearby cities.

Long Beach moves often involve apartment buildings, parking restrictions, elevators, stairs, narrow streets, and busy neighborhoods. Planning ahead helps the move go smoother.

Do you offer Anaheim moving services?

Yes. Twilight Movers also serves Anaheim and surrounding Orange County areas. We help with apartment moves, house moves, packing, loading, unloading, and local moving services.

If your move is in Anaheim, Garden Grove, Fullerton, Orange, Santa Ana, or nearby cities, contact us with your pickup and delivery details for a moving estimate.

Do you offer office moving?

Yes. We provide office moving services for small businesses, workspaces, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, conference tables, computers, and office furniture.

Office moves require planning because businesses often need to reduce downtime. We recommend organizing files, labeling equipment, and planning furniture placement before moving day.

Do you move storage units?

Yes. We help customers move items into and out of storage units. Storage moves can include furniture, boxes, appliances, business inventory, and household items.

Please provide the storage facility address, unit size, floor level, elevator access, and whether the unit is packed tightly.

How far in advance should I book?

It is best to book as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, and end-of-month moves. These dates are usually busier because many leases start or end at the same time.

Early booking gives you better scheduling options and allows more time to prepare for parking, elevators, packing, and moving logistics.

Can I book a same-day or next-day move?

Sometimes, yes. Same-day and next-day availability depends on our schedule, crew availability, truck availability, and the size of the move.

If you need urgent moving help, call us and provide the pickup address, delivery address, inventory, stairs or elevator information, and preferred start time.

What information do you need for a quote?

To provide a better estimate, we need the pickup city, delivery city, move date, home size, approximate inventory, number of boxes, stairs, elevators, parking situation, and any heavy or special items.

Photos can also help when there are large items, difficult access, garage items, or a lot of furniture.

Do you have a minimum?

Most professional moving companies have a minimum service time because movers, truck, equipment, fuel, scheduling, and travel preparation are required even for smaller moves.

Contact Twilight Movers for current minimums and pricing based on your move size and location.

What is a Not-To-Exceed estimate?

A Not-To-Exceed estimate gives customers a maximum estimated price for the agreed move details, unless additional services, extra items, extra stops, changes, or new requests are added by the customer.

This helps customers understand the budget and avoid surprises. The final price may be lower if the move takes less time.

Do you charge for driving time?

Driving time depends on the distance between pickup and delivery and California moving regulations. For local moves, the driving policy should be clearly explained in your estimate before the move.

Always ask for driving time details before booking any moving company so you understand the full pricing.

Do you move fragile items?

Yes. We move fragile items, but fragile items must be packed properly before transportation. Glass, dishes, lamps, mirrors, artwork, electronics, and delicate decorations should be packed with enough protection.

If you need help packing fragile items, ask about packing services before your move date.

Should I empty my drawers before the move?

It depends on the furniture. Light clothing may sometimes stay in sturdy drawers, but heavy items, fragile items, liquids, valuables, paperwork, and small loose items should be removed.

Heavy drawers can make furniture unsafe to lift and can increase the risk of damage.

Do you move TVs?

Yes. We can move televisions, but TVs should be packed in a proper TV box whenever possible. If you no longer have the original box, tell us before the move so we can discuss protection options.

Large flat-screen TVs are fragile and should be handled carefully.

Do you move mirrors and artwork?

Yes. Mirrors and artwork should be packed properly before moving. Large mirrors and framed artwork usually need special protection such as mirror boxes, cardboard protection, padding, and careful handling.

Tell us ahead of time if you have oversized mirrors, glass tops, or valuable artwork.

Can you move my belongings into different rooms at delivery?

Yes. At delivery, our movers can place furniture and boxes into the correct rooms when boxes are labeled and the customer gives clear instructions.

Labeling boxes by room makes unloading faster and helps avoid confusion.

What should I keep with me during the move?

Keep important documents, medication, jewelry, cash, keys, personal electronics, chargers, passports, legal documents, and other valuables with you.

Movers should not be responsible for small personal valuables that are better transported by the customer.

Do you move plants?

Small plants may be moved depending on the situation, but plants can be fragile and sensitive to heat, cold, and movement. It is usually best for customers to transport delicate plants themselves.

Do you move liquids or chemicals?

Hazardous materials, open liquids, flammable items, chemicals, paint, gasoline, and similar items should not be transported in the moving truck.

These items can leak, spill, create safety issues, or damage other belongings.

What happens if it rains?

If weather is safe enough to work, moves may continue during light rain. Movers will take reasonable care to protect furniture and reduce exposure to water.

Heavy rain, unsafe conditions, flooding, or severe weather may require schedule adjustments.

How can I make my move faster?

The best way to make a move faster is to be fully packed before the crew arrives, label boxes, reserve parking, clear pathways, disassemble simple items if you prefer, and communicate special instructions ahead of time.

Good preparation can save time and reduce stress on moving day.

Why should I hire professional movers instead of doing it myself?

Professional movers bring experience, equipment, safe lifting techniques, truck loading skills, furniture protection, and organization. Moving heavy furniture without proper equipment can cause injuries, wall damage, floor damage, or broken furniture.

Hiring movers helps make the process safer, faster, and more organized.
